1. The service and operator
Erik Hoflick operates Collab Current from Ontario, Canada. Collab Current helps brands and creators form campaign assignments, secure payment, submit and review deliverables, and record payouts. It also operates a Growth Partner referral program. Collab Current is not a social network, talent agency, employer, or regulated escrow or trust service.
2. Eligibility and authority
You must be at least 18 years old, be legally able to enter a contract, and provide accurate information. If you act for a business, you confirm that you have authority to bind that business. Access may be limited while errors, fraud concerns, payment disputes, or safety issues are reviewed.
3. Accounts and independent businesses
One account may hold multiple roles. Keep access to your email secure and promptly report suspected unauthorized use. Brands and creators are independent businesses or individuals. Creators are not employees, agents, or representatives of Collab Current and are responsible for their own taxes, permits, insurance, and legal obligations.
4. Campaign agreement
When a brand selects a creator, Collab Current creates an assignment agreement snapshot containing the campaign brief, accepted application or invitation, creator compensation, platform fee, deliverables, deadline, revision allowance, usage rights, and other displayed terms. That snapshot cannot be silently rewritten. After creator acceptance, the assignment shows Funding required. The creator must not begin work until Stripe confirms payment and Collab Current displays Funds Secured.
5. Brand charges, fees, and payouts
Collab Current is the business and merchant of record for the charge collected from the brand through the platform and may appear on the receipt or statement. The brand pays the agreed creator compensation plus the displayed platform fee. After final approval and operational review, the creator compensation is transferred through Stripe Connect. Stripe's services are also governed by its applicable terms, including the Stripe Connected Account Agreement.
Growth Partner commission comes from an eligible portion of Collab Current's collected platform fee and never reduces the hired creator's agreed compensation. Current payment, refund, dispute, and payout rules are in the Payment, Payout, and Refund Policy.
6. Content, ownership, and usage rights
Creators must provide original or properly licensed work. Brands must have rights to materials, products, marks, and claims they supply. Ownership and usage rights transfer only as stated in the assignment agreement and after any stated payment condition is met. Collab Current receives a limited licence to host, process, and display materials as needed to operate and protect the service.
7. Advertising and platform rules
Brands and creators must follow applicable advertising, consumer-protection, intellectual-property, privacy, and platform rules. Material connections such as payment, free products, discounts, or commissions must be disclosed clearly and prominently with each applicable social post. Users may not make misleading claims or ask another user to hide a commercial relationship.
8. Prohibited use and enforcement
You may not use Collab Current for fraud, unlawful goods or services, harassment, impersonation, infringement, deceptive promotion, payment circumvention, malware, spam, self-referral, or attempts to access another user's private data. Collab Current may restrict, suspend, or close accounts, campaigns, payments, or referral participation to investigate risk or enforce these terms.
9. Reviews and disputes
Reviews must concern a verified completed assignment and reflect an honest experience. Revision and rejection reasons must relate to the agreed work. Collab Current may review campaign records, submissions, messages, payment evidence, and audit history and may pause a transfer during a credible dispute, chargeback, fraud concern, or legal request. Manual review does not guarantee recovery or a particular outcome.
10. Service availability and liability
The service is provided on an as-available basis. Collab Current does not guarantee social reach, sales, campaign results, creator income, uninterrupted availability, or that every user will perform. To the extent permitted by law, Erik Hoflick is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential loss. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or remedies that applicable law does not allow to be excluded.
11. Changes, governing law, and contact
Material changes will be identified by a new version and may require renewed acceptance. These terms are governed by the laws of Ontario and the applicable federal laws of Canada, subject to mandatory rights in your location. Questions or legal notices may be sent to collabcurrent@gmail.com.
