1. Accountability
Erik Hoflick is responsible for personal information handled through Collab Current. The Privacy Officer can be reached at collabcurrent@gmail.com. This policy applies to users and visitors of the service.
2. Information we collect
We collect account identifiers and email; roles and onboarding details; creator, brand, portfolio, and social profile information; campaigns, applications, invitations, assignments, submissions, reviews, support reports, and audit events; referral codes, first-touch cookie records, and attribution; payment, fee, commission, refund, dispute, and payout status; and technical records such as timestamps, IP-related security data, device or browser information, and error logs.
Stripe collects payment-card, identity, bank-account, and payout-onboarding information directly. Collab Current stores the Stripe identifiers and status needed to operate and reconcile transactions, but does not need your full card or bank-account number.
3. Why we use information
We use information to authenticate users; create profiles and campaign agreements; match brands and creators; process and reconcile payments and payouts; attribute referrals; calculate fees and commissions; provide support; send service notices; prevent fraud and abuse; maintain reliable financial and audit records; improve the service; and comply with legal obligations.
Collab Current does not sell personal information.
4. Public and shared information
Public creator profile fields may be viewed by brands and visitors where enabled. Campaign data, applications, invitations, agreements, submissions, and reviews are shared only with relevant participants and authorized administrators. Growth Partners receive limited referral and commission information and do not receive confidential campaign details they do not need.
5. Service providers and international processing
Collab Current uses Supabase for authentication and database services, Stripe for payment and payout services, and Vercel for hosting. These providers may process information in Canada, the United States, or other countries where they or their subprocessors operate. Information may be subject to the laws of those places.
6. Consent and choices
We identify the information needed for the purposes described here and request additional consent where required. You may withdraw optional consent, but some information is necessary to provide an account, complete a transaction, prevent fraud, or meet legal duties. You may request access, correction, or deletion and may challenge our handling of your information by contacting the Privacy Officer. We may verify your identity before responding.
7. Retention
We retain information only as long as reasonably needed for the purposes above. Financial, tax, payout, commission, and supporting transaction records may be retained for at least six years where required. Fraud-prevention, dispute, legal, and audit records may be retained for an appropriate period even after an account closes. Other profile content may be deleted or anonymized when it is no longer needed.
8. Safeguards and incidents
We use role-based authorization, row-level database policies, restricted server credentials, encrypted network connections, payment-provider controls, and audit logging. No online system is perfectly secure. We investigate suspected incidents and provide notices when required by law.
9. Age, complaints, and changes
Collab Current is for people aged 18 and older. Contact the Privacy Officer first with a concern. You may also have the right to complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada or another applicable privacy regulator. Material policy changes will use a new version and may require renewed acknowledgement.
